Someone wrote to me and asked about crock-pot recipes with beef or venison and good for a meat-and-potatoes family that isn't always home at the same time. I recommended
coke roast and making and freezing chili in portions. Care to share your thoughts?
I make what's called the ToDieFor Roast. Super simple. 1 package Brown Gravy mix, 1 package ranch mix, 1 package onion soup mix. I usually brown the roast prior and then add a little chicken broth. Cook on low 6-8 hours. SOOOO good!
ReplyDeleteOhh that sounds good! I'll have to try that on a cold day!
